Through Paola’s Therapeutic Lens

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a 200hr Yoga Alliance-Certified Instructor, I implement a holistic therapeutic approach and integrate varying therapeutic modalities in an effort to tailor interventions that are in alignment with the needs of each individual. Partaking in psychotherapy means showing up as you are and shedding all the personas you present in your social life. I draw from my diverse experience to create an authentic, warm and safe environment where you can give yourself permission to be vulnerable and show up as you are.

Common concerns and challenges that prompt clients to engage in therapy include:

  • Adult Sexual Abuse

  • Childhood Sexual Abuse

  • Generalized Anxiety/ Depression

  • LGBTQIA+/ Gender Identity

  • Life Transitions

  • Racial Identity

  • Trauma & PTSD
